Newpay is a digital credit account platform that allows you to break down your online purchases into monthly payments.

From May - July 2023, through employment with durhamlane, I created a variety of ads in 3D software to give a polished and authentic feel.

What happened?

Newpay has a distinctive brand appearance, consisting of thousands of green bubbles in the shape of various products to illustrate the potential purchase of said item. To achieve this effect in your traditional editing software would take an immensely long time and to a lower quality. Having prior knowledge of the 3D production pipeline, I was able to construct a base mesh of each item required, and then apply a particle system to the object - each particle applied would produce a green bubble.

I applied lighting effects and a coloured backdrop to situate the 3D model. This produced hugely effective results that were not only much quicker but remained faithful to the Newpay brand.
