Spectrum Noir

What happened?

I’ve developed many products under the Spectrum Noir brand, but my favourite has to be these TriColour brush markers. The packaging was created to showcase the unique functionality of the 9 interchangeable colours to their highest potential. To reduce the internal cost for location and photography shots, I constructed and rendered the packaging and pens in 3D to ensure that I could get a pixel-perfect representation of the product every time.

Another product range I designed was the AquaBlend series of watercolour pencils. The colour of the rendered image needed to match the colour of the physical pencil to avoid any disappointment when the tray was opened. Spectrum Noir is a premium brand so product quality from the development to retail needed to be perfect.
